Kiss: the hottest tattoos in the world!

It seems that the new world tour by Kiss will be their last ever. If the NYC group runs out, their tattoos probably not…

The next Kiss world tour – called ‘End of the Road’ and ready to start January, 31 in Vancouver – will be their last. Sad but true. The group, founded in 1973 in New York City, will call the day at last.

The ‘End of the Road’ itinerary will count 65 gigs across two continents (United States/Canada and Europe/Russia) played by a band actually formed by Paul Stanley (vocals, guitar), Gene Simmons (vocals, bass), Tommy Thayer (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Eric Singer (drums, backing vocals). The other two Kiss former members (Ace Frehley and Peter Criss) aren’t in the band universe from many, many years.

In official statement, Kiss says of the upcoming tour: «All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years. This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t. Kiss Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in… Unapologetic and Unstoppable».

Kiss just completed a sort of final world tour (‘The Farewell Tour’ in 2000) so Paul Stanley honestly added: «The Farewell Tour was at the end of the time that we had brought back the two original members (guitarist Ace Frehley and drummer Peter Criss. Ed) and it was such drudgery and so difficult and so unhappy… After the tour was over, it didn’t take me very long to realize I didn’t want to say goodbye to the band; I wanted to say goodbye to two members».

Otherwise Stanley wouldn’t rule out appearances by Frehley, Criss, or any other former Kiss member be a part of the upcoming tour, adding: «This will be a celebration of Kiss and not any individual line up or any individual members. I wouldn’t rule anything out».

Let’s celebrate the hottest band in the world with a gorgeous tattooed gallery… Check it out!
